Mr. Forrester was a graduate of Shades Valley High School in Birmingham, and a graduate of the University of Alabama in 1967, where he was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. He worked for many years as a software analyst. He was a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Marietta. Mr. Forrester is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mrs. Maryanne Branham Forrester of Marietta; one sister, Jan Forrester Ellison of Birmingham; four nieces, Deborah Ellison Barr (Andy), Michele Ellison Hamner (Ted), Shannon Stokes Sale (Rick) and Laura Stokes.
A Memorial Service will be held at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Marietta on September 10, 2015, at 11:00am. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, 4385 Lower Roswell Road Marietta, GA 30068, or to the charity of your choice.
