My name David Wright I was Nancy first Husband.  After the Navy , I join the Army and served another 12 yrs.  if  i have know  this had happen I would have been there.  Nancy mother was great and lovable person and it was a honor to met her.

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Weronski. I was the mail carrier on Mars Hill Church Road when they lived there. She was always so sweet to me when I had a package. Her life story was beautifully displayed in the photo gallery. So sorry for your loss.

When my parents first came to the US, they met Mike and Lilly.  In the 1980s, my parents would drop me off at Lilly's house really early (4-5am).  She would babysit me (I was 4-5 years old) and we always had the best time.  Lilly would have us over for Thanksgiving dinner every year; she was such a wonderful cook.  To this day, I never had a Thanksgiving dinner better than hers.  Lilly was an amazing, loving, and generous person.  My mom and Lilly shared so much, including the pain of losing their adult sons.  Lilly took in her granddaughter Julie and gave her a loving home.  My mom and I got to see Lilly several months ago--my mom just told Lilly to enjoy her life and take it day by day.  My mom always thought of Lilly as a very strong person and was sharp as a tack.  When Morgan was born (my late brother's daughter), she gave Morgan several brand new kids books.  We still have those books and I still read them to her.  I remember Lilly coming to my 18th birthday and giving me a birthday card filled with cash.  There are so many good memories.
My parents absolutely loved her and I know they will be devastated when I tell them the news once they return home from Taiwan.  We will always love Lilly and cherish the wonderful memories and joy that she brought into our lives.  Mike and Nancy, please accept our heartfelt condolences.  We miss her very much.
