James Edwin Finch

Mr. James Edwin “ Speedy “ Finch age 88, of Kennesaw, GA., passed away February 9, 2011. Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 15, 2011 at 11 am from the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Kennesaw, Ga., with Bishop Wesley Forriester officiating. Burial will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery Canton, GA., Tuesday February 15, 2011.

Mr. Finch was a native of Rockmart, Ga., he was a U.S. Army veteran, he received 1 Bronze Star in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre Ribbon with 4 Bronze Stars and the medal of Good Conduct and also served in the Guinea GO 40 WD 45 and Guadalcanal Luzon Southern Philippines GO 33 WD 45. He is preceded in death by his father Samuel Finch, his mother Jennie V. Craddock, by his son Ronnie Finch , his brother Don Craddock and his grandson Joie Wilder.

Wife, Christine Norton Finch, Kennesaw, GA.

Daughters, Gail Mulkey, Marietta, GA., Denise Elliott, Kennesaw, GA. Brother, Scott Craddock, Marietta, GA.

Grandchildren, Michael Mulkey, Amanda Finch and Sammie Finch. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans at 995 Roswell St. Marietta, GA. 30060. The family will receive friends from 9-11 am at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Kennesaw, GA. (770) 422-7299.
