James "Jim " Mack Mann, 80, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday, August 9, 2020. Jim was born April 24, 1940, lived in Virginia until age 4. His Family moved to Cleveland, OH, until 1984 when he moved to Georgia. Jim served proudly in the Air Force for six years as a member of the National Security Agency. Jim acquired skills that led him to a career in information technology, working for many large companies and even owned his own company for a while. Jim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Karen Jeanne Mann, his sister, Joyce (Larry) McQuerry of Miller's Creek, NC, his son James Mack Mann II (Shannon) of Detroit, MI, two daughters, Lori and Angela, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. But Jim's largest family is his square and round dance family, as he and Karen danced for 30 years. Visitation is planned for Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, Memorial Service at 5:30 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30152.
