James Todd Nash

It is with heartfelt sadness and fond remembrance that we announce the passing of James “Todd” Nash, born on May 22, 1968, in Decatur, Georgia to his beloved parents, James Emery Nash II & Judy (Brown) Nash-Ellis. Todd’s life was one of warmth, dedication, and passion, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Todd had a long and fulfilling career in Information Technology, working with Global Payments, IBM and the State of Georgia where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. He was a true professional who always approached his work with integrity and a sense of curiosity.

Beyond his career, Todd had a wide range of passions. He loved music, finding joy in melodies that touched his soul. He was an animal lover, always ready to lend a hand to any furry friend in need. Todd’s passion for collecting watches was another reflection of his attention to detail and appreciation for craftsmanship. A devoted fan of College Football, especially Georgia Tech Football. He enjoyed cheering for his team, always ready to share his enthusiasm for the game with others.

Todd's kindness, humor, and loyalty to his family and friends will never be forgotten. He lived life fully, leaving a legacy of love, joy, and a sense of camaraderie that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.

Todd is survived by his loving wife, Janet {Hull) Nash; Father, James Emery (Jim) Nash II (Jayne); brother, Chris Nash (Debi); Brandon Nash (Nephew), Emily Nash (Niece); Daniel Ellis (Stepfather) and Dustin Ellis (Stepbrother).

A Memorial service will be held in his honor on February 8, 2025, at Mountain View Church, 2300 Jamerson Road in Marietta, GA at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw, Georgia. The interment ceremony will be a private gathering reserved for close family members.

Todd’s memory will live on through the many lives he touched. Rest in peace, dear friend.
