J.D. Lawler, age 85 passed away on Sunday January 14, 2018. J.D. was born January 10, 1933 in Piedmont, Alabama to Shelly Lawler and Dewey Lawler. J.D. was a devoted husband to his wife for 52 years, he was a loving father to his children and a great grandfather to his grandson. J.D. enjoyed watching the braves and his football team was Alabama Crimson Tide. He like to garden and enjoyed being a handyman.
J.D. is survived by; daughter Kathy Smith; son David Lawler; brothers: Jack Lawler, Denny Lawler, Ronald Lawler, Terry Lawler, and grandson; George Spiceland.
J.D. was preceded in death by his wife Sue Lawler; father Dewey Lawler and mother Shelly Lawler.
A visitation for J.D. will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Funeral service will be Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial Contribution may be made to The American Heart Assocation.
