Tinsley, Jeanette Petty

Jeanette Petty Tinsley, age 83 of Kennesaw died Thursday, November 23, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas S. Tinsley. Jeanette retired from Sears in 1991. She was a longtime member of Eastwood Baptist and Elizabeth Baptist Church. She was proud of her career, but always most important to her, was being "Nanny"; enjoying the love of her family and friends, and caring for many people. She is survived by her only son Thomas Michael Tinsley (Judy) of Kennesaw; granddaughters Kelli McAteer (Frank) of Woodstock: Taryn Corbin (Dave) of Gilbert AZ, Robyn Pannell (Jeremy) of Marietta; grandson Eric Hendrickson of Richmond, CA; and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Evelyn Hensley (Clyde) of Marietta; Sue Dunn (Tommy) of Austell; brother Bobby Petty (Suzette) of Marietta and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw GA. The family will receive visitors from 3pm to 5pm Saturday, November 25 th and the funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 26 th at 2 pm. Arrangements under the direction of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Kennesaw, GA.

Nanny was SUCH a precious, sweet and wonderful woman!
One of the pictures is of me painting her fingernails! That warmed my heart so much to see that picture. I think that was before Taryn & David's wedding.
I'll always cherish my memories of Nanny- she left a legacy of an INCREDIBLE family to carry on being excellent people and spreading love to others.
