December 29, 1946 – November 5, 2025
Jerome Dill, a devoted father, grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away surrounded by love and peace on November 5, 2025. Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Jerome was the beloved son of Halodean Hickum and Lee Dill.
Jerome lived a life filled with curiosity, laughter, and quiet strength. A master of billiards, he spent countless hours perfecting his game and was known for his incredible trick shots and calm confidence at the table. He also found joy on the golf course, where patience and precision reflected his thoughtful nature.
A lifelong learner, Jerome had a deep passion for technology and always stayed up-to-date on the latest innovations. His talent with computers earned him the title of “computer wiz” among family and friends. When he wasn’t tinkering with tech, Jerome could be found enjoying his favorite pastime — watching movies and savoring delicious meals. A true foodie at heart, he had an especially deep love for classic Southern dishes that reminded him of home.
Jerome will be remembered for his warm spirit, sharp mind, and the joy he brought into every room. His love, wisdom, and laughter will continue to live on through his family and all those fortunate enough to have known him.
He leaves behind to carry on his legacy his loving daughter, Natoria Thomas, and his cherished grandchildren, Zalora and Elric Myers, who were the light of his life, and his brother, Gerald Dill.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park. A second visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will follow on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at the same location.
Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day — unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.
Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
