We are honored to share the news that our beloved JR, Jerry Clark, attained the eternal joy of Heaven on March 20, 2025. JR lived for 28+ years and left us with wonderful memories that touched the hearts of everyone he came across. With an infectious smile on his face JR was always genuinely happy to be where he was. He was an AMAZING father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
There are not enough words to express how JR changed the lives of those he met and loved. He put his heart and soul into loving his family, friends and others who crossed his path, not only through his words but by his actions. JR strove to be man of virtue and integrity, and to conduct himself honorably. He was fiercely loyal to the ones he loved, and was generous to everyone he could be. With his hearty voice and sharp, nurturing intellect he molded young men and women by teaching them life lessons and showing them their value.
With his servant’s heart, he compassionately and gracefully served others- and felt genuine joy when he did so. His desire to serve his fellow man first lead him to join the Army where he served his country for three years. Afterwards, he would continue to serve the community after finding the Woodstock Jaycees; a decision that would lead to him serving the Camp Dream Foundation for many years as a counselor and goose poop scooper. The Jaycees would also lead him to travel the country as part of the Georgia Honor Corp and the Georgia JCI Senate.
JR is survived by his family, friends, and the countless men and women who've been impacted by his mentorship.
To celebrate JR’s inheritance of Heaven, a memorial service will be held on March 27, 2025 at Winkenhofer-Pine Ridge Funeral home, 2950 North Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Viewing will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with service immediately following.
