Jill Kitchen Conable

May 26, 1972 ~ September 7, 2014

Jill was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She lived in Orange Park, Florida, Birmingham, Alabama and spent most of her childhood in Marietta, Georgia. Jill attended Lassiter High School and graduated from Pope High School. She attended Georgia Southern University, but earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Kennesaw State University, graduating with the honor of Magna Cum Laude. After graduating, she worked as an appraiser and as an analyst at Novogradac and Company L.L.P.

Jill said many times that the best thing she had done and what she was most proud of was raising such wonderful children, Preston, Avery and Laine. They brought her such joy.

As a mother, she worked hard building strong, loving and caring children, knowing her time was short, all the time hoping and praying that she was doing it right. She knew that one day; it would be very possible that the world would marvel, not only at what she built, but also at the beauty that had been added to the world because of her sacrifices and the pain she endured. Her strength and determination inspired many, as she fought like the strongest of warriors. She was special!

Jill was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Hazel Ward, Detroit, Michigan, Wilfred Kitchen and Marjorie Kitchen, Bradenton, Florida. She is survived by her children, Preston Conable, Avery Conable and Laine Conable all of Acworth, Georgia, her parents, Garrie Kitchen and Janet Kitchen, Jasper, Georgia, brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Lori Kitchen, Roswell, Georgia, sisters and brother-in-laws, Julie and Roger Miller, Dublin, Georgia, Sharon and Robert Shafer, Kennesaw, Georgia, nieces, Kendell Miller, Whitney Miller, Morgan Kitchen, nephews, Justin Miller, Jeffrey Taylor Kitchen, Zachary Campbell and special friend, Steven Johnson and family.
