Jo Anne Nabers, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2025, following a stroke. Jo was a devoted wife to her husband, Bill, for more than 69 years and a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her love of reading, her talent in the kitchen, and her adventurous spirit, having traveled to 49 states. Above all, Jo cherished caring for her family and spending time with those she loved most.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Nabers; her daughter, Kari Jarrett (Richie); her sister, Jane Landers; her grandchildren, Allison, Paige, and Morgan; her great-grandchildren, Roman and Reese; along with several nieces and nephews.
Jo was preceded in death by her son, L. Gregory Nabers; her parents, Hugh and Thelma Segars; and her brother, Bill Segars.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
