Joanne Miles

Joanne Miles, age 82, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born in Tampa, Florida to the late John and Ruth Hause. Joanne enjoyed reading, dancing, exercising, horseback riding, fast cars, and high heeled shoes. She was very active and social until her passing. Joanne was a hard worker and worked as an executive secretary for twenty-six years at Control Southern. Most of all Joanne loved to spend time with her family and would do so any opportunity that she could. Joanne was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all that had the honor of knowing her.

Joanne is survived by her sons; David (Tricia)Delk of Kennesaw, Michael (Sherry) Delk of Massachusetts, grandchild Heather (Daniel) Poe and great grandchildren, Isaiah, Rachel, Emmett of Kennesaw, grandchild Kristi (Eli) Laughlin and great grandchildren, Palmer and Judah of Kennesaw, grandchild Rebecca (Derek) Kimball and great grandchildren, Kylee, Kaden, and Kennedy, grandchildren; Abbigail, Jacob & Daniel Delk of Massachusetts, Heather (Kyle) O’Neal, and great grandchildren, Teddy and Henry of Massachusetts, grandchild Jared Cardinal of Massachusetts, and cousin, Carol Sue Daniel of Tampa.

Joanne is preceded in death by her husband, William Miles.

A visitation for Joanne will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Joanne's service will occur Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 12:30 PM. The burial will occur Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Eternal Hills Cemetery, 3700 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville, GA 30039.
