John L. passed away peacefully to the LORD, May 31, 2012. Survived by his wife, Gretchen S. Blake, children-Becky Williams, Alice Richardson, Jim Wiencek, John Wiencek and 4 grandchildren- his sister, Margaret, Brother-in-law Don Elliott- 4 nieces and husbands, 24 grand nieces and nephews, 4 great-nephews. Born in Mexico City- January 12, 1938. Lived 1940 through graduation from high school in Temple, Texas. Served as an officer overseas after graduation from Texas A&M. Lived a life that blessed him with many friends, many of whom in business in a very successful career in finance. Laid to rest June 8, 2012 in the family plot-Bellefontaine Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. His caring love will be greatly missed.
