He was retired from Cobb EMC with over 30 years of service. He loved his church, Hiram Church of Christ, Bluegrass Music, fishing and working in his yards.
Mr. Patterson is preceded in death by his sister, Eunice Sharp. Survived by his daughters, Romona Lovinggood, Theresa Carlson, Melissa Turner; sisters, Eudell Rogers, Dean Reeves; brothers, Harold Patterson, James Patterson; grandchildren, Tyler Patterson, Blake Eidson, Gregory Turner, Nicole Lovinggood; great grandchildren, Cameron Eidson, John Tyler Patterson, II; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday Aug. 2 at 3 PM in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Ministers Matthew Johnson and Shane Tidwell officiating. Interment will follow in Rolling Hills Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 6 until 8 PM Thursday and between 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
