June Cornuet

June loved UGA football and the Atlanta Braves. When she wasn’t watching her grandkids and great grandkids, she was dreaming about going to Vegas. She was a great dancer and danced the night away with her husband, Ray. June also loved the beach and enjoyed bowling.

June attended King Spring Baptist Church in Smyrna, GA.

June is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Daniel Cornuet; parents, Fred and Hattie Stephens; siblings, Gene Stephens and Margaret Piotrowski.

She is survived by her daughters, Wendi Swanson, Kelli Mantooth, Kathi Lienemann; grandchildren, Jordan Hopson (Melissa), Andrew Swanson, Aubri Franklin (Cody), Averi Parry (Michael), and Hali & Keeli Mantooth; great grandchildren, Meyers Franklin, Emersyn Hopson, and Bennett Parry; sister-in-law, Jane Stephens; along with several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home on Friday, July 12 at 11:30 AM. Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, July 11th from 6-8 PM.

Interment to follow at Cheatham Hill Cemetery at 1861 Dallas Hwy. Marietta, GA 30064.
