Kathy Vaden

Kathy Ellison Vaden, age 67, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Kathy was born July 22, 1956 in Tyronza, Arkansas to Arlon and Iva Dell Ellison. She was a woman of the Baptist faith. Kathy was proceeded in death by her husband Bill Vaden Jr. father Arlon Ellison, mother Ivadell Ellison and sister Diane Pate. They will soon meet again.

Kathy is survived by her daughter Nicole Vaden; and son Corey Vaden and daughter in-law Sherri Vaden; sisters Bernice Raucher, Sue Dorris, Anita Folkes; brothers Tim Ellison Larry Ellison, Leonard Ellison; granddaughters-by-heart Nevada Worthington and Tori Grace Saboura and great-granddaughter-by-heart Scarlett Grace Worthington.

Kathy retired from Allstate Insurance Company in 2010. Her passions included needle point, playing with the babies and watching Downtown Abbey!!

Kathy will be buried at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton Georgia with her husband Bill of 43 years. Kathy and Bill’s relationship will serve as a shining example of how marriage should be. Their eyes didn’t shine as much as when they were looking at each other.

Family visitation will be held Friday, March 1st, 2024 from 1 pm to 2 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152). Public visitation will be from 2 pm -3 pm. A chapel service will follow at 3 pm. Burial will be Monday, March 11, 2024 at 1:30 pm at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr. Canton, GA 30194
