

Kerry Martin Kalafut, 63, of Kennesaw, passed away suddenly Thursday, November 18, 2015 as a result of a vehicle accident. Kerry was born March 16, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois. He enlisted into the United States Marine Corps after completing high school, and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a devoted, lifelong fan of the Chicago Blackhawks. Kerry is survived by his beloved wife Brenda Lynn of Kennesaw, GA; his five children, Christopher Kalafut of Chicago, IL, Nicole (Ryan) Murphy of Apex, NC, Colleen Kalafut of Greensboro, NC, Amy (Casey) Heppler of Apex, NC, and Dylan Kalafut of Kennesaw, GA.; mother, Corinne Stevens of Chicago, IL; brothers, Keith (Imelda y Tuazon) Kalafut and Kevin (Sue) Kalafut of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren; and many other dear family members and friends. Kerry was preceded in death by his father, Edward Kalafut; and his step-father William Stevens. A memorial service will be held 1:30pm Friday, November 27, at Swift Cantrell Park, 3140 Old Highway 41 Kennesaw, GA 30144.
