He was born in Bowling Green, KY, to Jay and Aline Patterson. He was an avid sports fan, with a passion for boating, water skiing, softball, motor cross,and NASCAR. Mike loved children and supported organizations such as St. Jude's Childrens hospital and the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. He volunteered his time for events such as the annual St Jude Trail Ride and as a 20 year member of the HLS&R Parade Committee. To some, he was best known as the social coordinator for the Chillin-N-Grillin BBQ team. He lived life to its fullest and never met a stranger.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years, Robyne Patterson; two sons, Chad Austin and Joshua Tyler Patterson; one daughter Chelsea (Charlie) Michalka; one brother, Bradley "Mark" Patterson; and his parents Jay and Aline Patterson all of Houston, TX.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 30th, at Tin Hall in Cypress, Texas from 1pm - 5pm.
