Larry Edward Hutson

A native of Maryville, TN Mr. Hutson graduated from Everett High School and served our country honorably in the Air Force. His working career was in Law Enforcement and included stints with Marietta, Cobb, and Bartow Police departments, along with Northside Hospital where he retired in 2011. Furthermore, Mr. Hutson held a license in six southern States as a Private Investigator and was a Certified Fraud and an Arson Investigator. His love of youth sports and volunteerisms at Shaw Park was recognized by his peers in 2002, the year he received the Jack Demarest Award for Life Time Achievement. Shaw Park further recognized Larry by naming its annual baseball tournament the Larry Hutson Tournament. Larry was of the Baptist faith and a member of Woodstock First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Judy Hutson; sons – Eddie and wife Cindy Hutson of Cartersville and Jeff and wife Katy Hutson of Kennesaw; brothers – Charles Garren and Ronnie Garren both of TN and Frank and Jim Sturdivant of Arkansas. His grandchildren – Lane, Taylor, Lilly, and Blair also survive.
