Larry Dixon McCain

Larry Dixon McCain, age 78, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021. Larry was born December 21, 1942 in Cedartown, Georgia.

Larry is survived by his wife, Rita McCain; son Jason McCain (Cee Cee); daughter Jennifer Miller (John); and daughter-in-law Amor McCain; brother Don McCain; granddaughters Ashlyn, Ansley, and Alia. Larry was preceded in death by son Jeff McCain.

Larry worked with Lockheed for 45 years and retired in 2008. He and his family were longtime and very active members of Grace Life Church in Marietta since 1965. Larry's love of trains led to his hobby of building model locomotives. A true gentleman, Larry will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing

A visitation for Larry will be held Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Grace Life Church, 1083 Allgood Rd NE, Marietta, GA 30062. A funeral service will follow on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Randy Brooks officiating. A burial will occur Sunday, February 21, 2021, 4:30 pm at Pineridge Memorial Park, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larry's memory may be made to the Children's Ministries at Grace Life Church, 1083 Allgood Rd NE, Marietta, Georgia 30062.
