Leo Goebel passed on September 29, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on January 20, 1949, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida and would later relocate to Acworth, Georgia where he would live the rest of his days in quiet peace. In his youth, Leo was a dedicated member of the United States Navy, eventually being discharged with honor after six years of service. Additionally, he spent over 20 hardworking years as a facility manager for Delta Airlines.
Above all else, Leo's greatest achievement was his family. He would be married to the love of his life Ellen for many years and would become the loving father of two children, Allison and Scott. He will be remembered with deep fondness by his family and friends.
Leo is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Dorris Goebel. He is survived by his wife, Ellen, his son Scott (Jaime), his daughter Allison (Justin) Watson, and three beloved grandchildren, Jules, Sydney, and Lilly.
