Les served proudly in the United States Air Force as a Aviation Maintenance Technician for four years. Throughout his life, he worked at ICM for over thirty years.
Les was married to Candace Petron for over 30 years until their separation in 2014. He enjoyed playing sports in high school and this led to his love of coaching children's football for the Smyrna Athletic Association for over twenty years, where he also served as association president, and later on supported the North Georgia Youth Football League as a commissioner, and coaching track for five years. Les had a passion for cooking. He made the best BBQ and even sold it for a few years in Paulding County. He also enjoyed woodworking and steel working.
Les is preceded in death by his father, Ivan Mastin.
Les is survived by his mother, Genevieve Mastin; his sons, Travis (Melissa) Mastin and Tyler (Yunmi) Mastin; brothers, Jay (Tammy) Mastin and Kelly (Kelly) Mastin; sister, Beverly (Terry) Bell; and grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, John, Rory, Stella, Ryan, Nari, and Jayden.
A memorial service to honor Mr. Les Mastin will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at eleven o'clock in the morning at St. Teresa's Episcopal Church (https://stteresasacworth.com/contact-us).
