

A Life of Love and Dedication
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Hendrix, a beloved widow, mother, sister, and grandmother. Linda departed from this world peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering commitment to her family.
Linda is survived by her three devoted children, Tonja (Robert) Johnson, Stephanie (Modice) Stubbs, and Kalita Hendrix Agboola, who were the light of her life and a testament to her caring and protective spirit. She also leaves behind four siblings, Lamarr Demings, Carl (Mary) Demings, Sterfon (Chikodi) Demings, Arical (Phillip) Johnson, who remember her as a source of support and joy throughout their lives. Her love and guidance will be deeply missed by her five grandchildren, Megan (David) Durant, Matthew (Alexandria) Tarver, Logan Tarver, Davin Agboola, and Adriel Agboola, who brought her immense happiness and pride.
Linda was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Napoleon Don Hendrix who she was married to for over 50 years, and her loving parents, Preston Brooke Demings, and Lettie Ruth Demings. Though their loss was profound, Linda found solace in the company of her family and friends, cherishing the memories and lessons imparted by her loved ones.
Linda graduated from Booker T. Washington high school. After high school she received a Vocational Degree in Data Entry from Trenholm State Community College. Her secular career involved working for the Licensing and Tag Department in Montgomery County, Alabama, and then working for the City of Montgomery as a court clerk. After her retirement, she received a degree in Culinary Arts from Trenholm State Technical College.
Linda was an active member of the Jehovah’s Witness faith and regularly volunteered in her neighborhoods and communities to help her neighbors learn the truth about God from their own bibles.
Throughout her life, Linda exemplified resilience and compassion. Her unwavering dedication to her family and her strength in the face of adversity were an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her bright smile, her love of music, and her ability to bring warmth and light to any room.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held on February 1st, 2025, where family and friends will gather to honor her memories and share the stories of her remarkable journey.
Linda Hendrix's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her, and her spirit will continue to inspire all who were touched by her presence. Rest in peace, Linda, knowing that you are loved and remembered always.
