Linda Torres, 77, of Kennesaw, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on February 11, 1949, in Philadelphia, she was the beloved daughter of Joseph Mangini and Doris Blemings.
Linda dedicated her life to serving and ministering to others—first in her job as billing and scheduling for an outpatient surgery center, and then at her church in so many different capacities over the years: woman’s ministry leader, prayer warrior, greeter, camera crew and teacher. She was known for her red hair, spunky attitude, her love for Jesus, her strength in the Lord, and her continued faithfulness throughout her life.
She is survived by her son, James Turnage and his wife Rachel, and her daughter Dawn Erickson, her grandchildren, Jayce, Jessa, Madeleine and Gabriella.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on July 10, 2026, at 11:00AM at NorthStar Church.
