Lloyd Dee Roberts

Lloyd Dee Roberts, age 73 of Acworth, GA, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 2, 1947 in Poplar Bluff, MO, to his late parents, Lloyd and Hattie Spencer Roberts. Mr. Roberts had volunteered and served with the Vietnam Veterans of Bartow County for many years and was an honorably discharged Army veteran. He worked for the Durham Bulls as a supervisor over the grounds. Lloyd loved riding his Honda motorcycle. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. In his free time, he enjoyed fixing things and could fix everything! Lloyd was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, friend and neighbor who will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Hayes Roberts and sister, Barbara McComb.

Survivors include his loving daughter, Toni and Ty Cade of Cartersville, GA, grandchildren; Oliver and Owen Cade; sister, Darlene and her husband Terry of TX; brothers, Bill and his wife Linda Brayton of IL, Danny Roberts of MO, Donnie and his wife Pat Roberts of MO.

A Private Service for Mr. Roberts will be held at the Pine Ridge Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 restrictions.
