Lorene Elizabeth Hale

She graduated from A.L. Brown High School and attended Lee College.

She worked many years while raising her children and did not retire until after having grandchildren. She had worked at Lockheed for some years but most of her time working was for Federated, formerly Rich’s. Most of her career at Rich’s was in the transportation department. Once she retired from there, she worked part time as receptionist at her church, Marietta Church of God for some years.

Lorene was actively involved in her family’s lives. Lorene was a long member of Marietta Church of God, attended faithfully until she was no longer able. She deeply loved Jesus, her church, reading (especially her Bible and devotions), doing word puzzles, flowers, watching strictly Alabama football, spending time with her family and friends. Her greatest joy was Jesus, her kids, grandkids, great grandkids and friends. Anytime she spent with her kids, grandkids, great grandkids and friends was when she was the happiest.

Lorene is survived by her children, William (Eugenia) Hale; Phillip (Cynthia) Hale; Lora (Gary) Pace; her grandchildren, Drew Hale; Nathan Hale; Dylan Hale; Tanner Pace; Ben Pace; her great grandchildren Aria Hale; Dawson Hale; her grandchildren by choice, Scott, Sandi, Madison, Savannah, and Danny Hockenberry; her brother Keith (Linda) Helms and niece Janet (Jerry) Davis.

Family and friends are invited to attend Lorene’s funeral service at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home on Wednesday December 4th at 12:00 PM with Rev. Randy Brooks presiding. Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, December 3rd between 5 PM – 7 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152.
