Lorine Kirk Smith

Lorine Kirk Smith, age 86, of Canton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Lorine was born July 3, 1935 to her parents Vint Kirk and Bertha Hicks Kirk. Lorine was married to her husband, Eddie Smith, for 51 years. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She was extremely family oriented and always put her family and loved ones first. Lorine was a faith-driven woman, and was very involved in her church community. She was a member of Shallowford Freewill Baptist Church, where she was an active member of the card ministry.

Lorine Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Vint Kirk and Bertha Hicks Kirk; her husband, Eddie Smith; her brothers Glenn and his wife, Fay Kirk and Harold, and his wife Virginia Kirk; and grandson Derek Kirk. Lorine is survived by her son, Vince (Kelly) Smith and daughter Sharon (Bill) Hamby; her sisters Sharlene (Roy) Halsey and Christine (Jim) Knight; and grandchildren Cason Smith, Zach Smith, Dalton Hamby, Laura Hamby, and Brittany Higgins.

A visitation for Lorine Smith will take place Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2-6 PM at Winkenhofer Funeral Home. A memorial service will be Monday, February 28, 2022 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
