Louise Austin Baker, age 96, of Woodstock, GA, was called home on Monday, August 5, 2019. She was born in Mize, MS on December 26, 1922. Mrs. Baker spent most of her life in New York, moving to Woodstock in 1992 from New Orleans. She was an LPN, retiring from the Lutheran Nursing Home in New Orleans in 1985. She was a member of the Prayer and Praise Christian Fellowship.

Louise has been reunited with her husband, Stockton Hugh Baker; parents, Albert Sidney Austin and Mary Agnes Austin; sister, Carrie Keith; and grandson, Stephen Baker. She leaves to cherish in her memory, sons, Rev. Larry H. Baker and wife Diana, Daniel A. Baker and wife Linda; daughters, Sheila A. Baker, Carolyn L. Cole and husband George; brother, Ray Austin; 9 grandchildren + 1 on the way; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

The family of Mrs. Baker will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 4PM to 8PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Louise Baker will lie in state on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 10AM at Prayer and Praise Christian Fellowship Church. A funeral service to honor the life of Louise will start at 11AM at the church. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
