Lucille Kemp, 71, of Acworth, died Monday, October 20, 2014. Funeral is Wednesday, 2pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Rev. Scott Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Garden in Acworth.
Lucille was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Acworth. Ms. Kemp and her husband Gilford had been married for 54 years and she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Survivors include her husband Gilford Kemp of Acworth, daughter Debbie and husband Jimmy Smith of Acworth, sisters Helen Goodwin and Ruth Lawborne, brothers Bill Barron and Bob Barron. Lucille is also survived by her grandchildren Charles Smith and Abigail Smith along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 – 8pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home and on Wednesday beginning at 11am until service time.
