Margaret Carpenter

Margaret Carpenter, age 96, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Margaret was born January 23, 1925. Margaret is survived by her daughter Sylvia Lutz; her daughter Bonnie Paul (Fred); her daughter Gail Adamson (Tim); and her son Gary Carpenter; her sister Edna Felder. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren A visitation for Margaret will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:00 pm at Crest Lawn Cemetery, 2000 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. Margaret was a longtime member of Wildwood Baptist Church in Acworth. She was one of America's Rosie the Riveters during WWII with Bell Aircraft as well as being part of "The Greatest Generation." Margaret loved sewing and was a loving homemaker.
