It is with a heavy heart that we are informing family and friends that our Mom, Marge Gutzman, passed away quietly on the morning of November 20, 2023. She was 87 years old and fighting several medical issues all too common with the elderly. She was born in Racine, Wisconsin in 1936 and married Dan Gutzman at the age of 18. They were married 38 years until his death almost 32 years ago. She had three children; Pam, Dan, and David. She was grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was known for her outspokenness and having a wicked sense of humor. She always loved to entertain anyone willing to listen to her stories about her family and how proud she was of each of them. She is missed, we know Mom is in a much better place now and at peace. Mom is not dealing with the pain she experienced over the last few years. We know Dad was there to greet her upon her arrival at the gates of heaven. We just hope there was a smoking area set aside for her when she got there. We will be celebrating Mass for the life of Margaret M. Gutzman, January 13, 2024 at 11: 00 AM at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 6301 Cedarcrest Road, Acworth, GA 30101 with Fr. Tim Nadolski Celebrant. Interment for both Mr. & Mrs. Gutzman Will follow in Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of usual remembrances, the family kindly request memorial donations in honor of Marge be made to St. Vincent de Paul at St. Clare’s Catholic Church.
