Margaret Reagan

Margaret Reagan, 97, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on January 13, 2023. She was born on November 29, 1925 in Tela Honduras. She is the daughter of the late John Henry Richardson and Angelita Paniagua.

Mrs. Reagan graduated from Mars Hill School, established in 1873, and was the last surviving member. She worked as a nurse at Crawford Long Hospital for 36 years. After her retirement she learned how to fly and was a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol.

Mrs. Reagan was a long time member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Acworth Ga for over 70 years.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Sidney W. Reagan; her daughter-in-law, Judy Reagan; brothers, Lonnie Richardson, Tommy Richardson, John Henry Richardson and Bobby Richardson.

She is survived by her sons; Roger Reagan, Robert (Judi) Reagan, Wayne (Terri) Reagan, Alan (Marsha) Reagan and David Reagan; daughters, Angela Reagan, Donna (Jim) Appel and Cindy (Lonnie) Cowart; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

The funeral service will take place on January 18, 2023 at 12:00 in the chapel of Winkenhofer Funeral Home. The internment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery.
