Margie Roy, age 90 passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025. Margie was married for 65 years to her husband Clyde and was deeply dedicated to her family as a devoted, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a wonderful cook who also found joy in gardening both flowers and veggies. Photography, travel, quilting, and sewing were enjoyed by her as well. Margie was faithful as a devout Christian.
Margie is survived by her sons Randy Carlock (Lauren),Gary Carlock (Danielle), and Wayne Roy; brother Gene Hooker (Bessie); her grandsons Adam Carlock (Tori), Patrick Roy (Reginia); granddaughter Reanna Roy; great grandchildren, William Roy, Ariah Roy and Joseph Roy.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Roy; son John Roy; parents George and Effie Black Hooker; brother Ed Hooker.
A visitation for Margie will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at NorthStar Church, 3413 Blue Springs Rd., Kennesaw, GA. Funeral service will followThursday, at 2:30 PM. Burial will be Friday, May 23, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Georgia Memorial Park, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, GA.
