Marilyn Pace

great-grandmother was born on August 27, 1936 and went to

her heavenly home on January 31, 2021.

Marilyn, age 84, was a homemaker devoted to her family and pets. She found joy in reading and listening to music. She is survived by her children: Sharilyn Bainbridge, Dari Thackston, William Babin, Cathy Brown, and Chris Babin; sons-in-law: Vincent Bainbridge, Greg Thackston, Jerry Brown, and daughter-in-law Michelle Babin; grandchildren: Tyrel Walker (Lindsay), Tonya Walker, Sabrina Babin, Jeramie Brown (Chasity), Jarrod Brown (Erin), Catherine McKellar (Brad), Branden Babin, and Christian Babin; great-grandchildren: Maddux Walker, Harleigh Walker, Shelby & Ethan Babin, Amelia & Adalyne Brown, Maddux & Myles Brown, and Aidan McKellar. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Walter Pace; parents Thomas & Gertrude Parr; siblings: Tommy Parr & Carol Smith; daughter-in-law Debbie Babin; and grandson Joshua Brown.

Visitation will be held on February 5, 2021 at 5:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia. Funeral Service will be held on February 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia. Graveside will be held on February 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia. Pastor Chris Giddens will be officiating the service. Serving as pallbearers are Tyrel Walker, Jeramie Brown, Jarrod Brown, Branden Babin, Christian Babin, and Ethan Babin.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marilyn’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association or American Kidney Foundation.
