She was the daughter of Merle and Georgia Miller and was born on October 3, 1935 in New Martinsville, West Virginia.
She worked as a sales associate for Sears.
Mrs. Moody is preceded in death by her husband, Edward James Moody, and son, Robert James Moody. She is survived by her children, Linda Moody of Acworth, Bruce Edward Moody of McDonough, David Lawrence Moody of McDonough, and Carl Duane Moody of Williamson; sisters, Geraldine Gormley of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania and Shirley Dunn of Hudson, Michigan; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 6, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am in the funeral home's chapel on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 with Jerry Black officiating. Dusty Brock, Richard Richardson, and Jordan Mitchell will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery in Acworth.
