

Mrs. Maddux was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on November 27, 1941. She was the daughter of Mary Elizabeth and Hal C. Wade (both deceased) of Chattanooga. She is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Maddux of Marietta; sister, Jane George, of Nashville, Tennessee; Patrick Kelley of Louisville, Kentucky; Sharon Tyler of Nashville, Tennessee; son, Anthony W. Maddux, of Hidden Valley, California; daughter, Elizabeth S. LeMoine, and beloved grandson, Jacob S. LeMoine, of Suwanee, Georgia; sister-in-law, Jeanne Branham, of Magnolia Springs, Alabama; niece, Mindy Swerfeger, of Spring Hill, Tennessee; nephew Mitchell Painter, of Nashville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Maddux moved to Atlanta with her husband thirty-five years ago, where she was employed as Administrative Assistant to the Chairman of Tiger Airlines and later becoming the Administrative Assistant to the President & CEO of Siemens, AG here in Atlanta. While at Siemens she spent eight months in Cairo, Egypt with a Siemens division establishing an operations office there for the Siemens Exciter Division, based in North Atlanta off McFarland Pawkway.
Later in her career she became President of the Roswell Fine Arts Alliance (RFAA) in Roswell. She held that post for several terms. She and her husband in 1993 became affiliated with ReMax Communities, where Mickie sold mid-high end residential properties and Bob concentrated on large land tracts in the south-east. Both then retired in 2005.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 2pm from the chapel of Winkenhofer Funeral Home. Family will be receiving friends from 1-2pm on Saturday, January 9, 2016. Remembrances can be donated to the American Cancer Society.
