She is preceded in death by her parents, James Harold and Ponytz Foxworthy O’Bannon; brother, Jimmy O’Bannon; sister, Sarah Margaret Cain.
Survived by her husband of 65 years, Larry A. Pitzel; son, Steven V. Pitzel; daughter, Mary Teresa Pitzel; grandchildren, Christopher Kolodey, Andrew Kolodey, Erin Tierney; sisters, Kathleen Johnson, Janet Ugalini, Emily Bruce Cummings, Wilhelmina Burket.
Memorial services will be held Friday May 2 at 4 PM at the Kennesaw United Methodist Church, 1801 Ben King Road, Kennesaw, GA 30144, with Rev. Emily Case officiating.
