Melissa was proceeded in death by her father Jessie Jacob Jr., and both sets of grandparents. Jessie Jacobs and Mary Jacob along with Percy McGlory Sr. and Rose Jones McGlory.
Melissa was employed by Arcadis- US in Atlanta, Ga for 13 years and loved her job dearly.
Melissa leaves behind her husband of 15 years, Fredrick Baker, daughter, Amaria Baker of the home. Son CPL Stephen Jacob of Okinawa, Japan. Mother, Savannah Jacobs of Marksville, La. One brother, Travis Jacob of Jackson, La. One sister Catina Shuler. Melissa had one god child, Kentrog Jackson of Youngsville, La. Two uncles, Percy (Madeline) McGlory and Kelly Jacob both of Marksville, La. Godparents Leon Anderson and Anette Gonzales of Marksville, La. She also leaves behind a lot of special friends and coworkers.
