She was retired with 25 years of service as an account manager with Texas Tech University. A member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Mrs. Tellez was also in the Saint Vincent DePaul Volunteers, the Siena Seniors and the Rosary group. Mrs. Tellez was an artist later in life and loved her grandchildren and children in general.
She is survived by her children, Jo Ann Gonzales, Tony Tellez, Lillian T. Kipling; brother, Fred and his wife Armie Duran; sister, Rosalin and her husband Armando Serafin; grandchildren, Frank and his wife Vanessa Corral, David and his wife Val Corral, Christopher Corral, Matthew Kipling, Hannah Kipling, Alec Guzman, Ashley Guzman; great grandchildren, Carmelo Corral, Pablo Corral, Andrew Corral and Jaxon Corral.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, July 10 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Valley Parish in El Paso, TX with Father Cyprian Uline officiating. A rosary service will be held at 9:30 also at Our Lady of the Valley on Thursday.
