Michelle Flanary, age 38, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Tuesday February 4, 2020. Michelle was born February 10, 1981.

Michelle had a big heart and was always ready to help those less fortunate. She also was a dog lover especially the family pet Mr. Boots.

The family has requested in place of customary remembrances that donations be made in memory of Michelle to MUST Ministries at

Come to Rest God saw you getting weary. He did what He thought best; He put His arms around you And said Come and rest. He opened up His golden gates, On that heartbreaking day, And with His arms around you, Your youth gently slipped away. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone; A part of us went with you The day God called you home.

Michelle will be laid to rest on Sunday February 16th at 11:00 in the Sacred Heart Garden in a private ceremony with closest friends and family.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at for the Flanary family.

I'm still lost with words. I know that you are where you should be . In a place where there is no suffering you already where an angel.
I'm just so lucky to have had the time we spent together. I feel like you were one of my daughters . I'm sure you gave me more advice than I could have you. For a young lady your soul was old and wise. You were always smiling. There really are so many moments that we had those little 5 minutes conversation when sometimes we would run into each other in some of the darndest spots lol. Only you would know what I'm talking about.
I feel horrible about christmas but the truth is I was going through the same crap as you and when I would see you it would take days for me to regain my composure. Like I was saying I love you like one of my own daughters.
Ya know we had some friends that are just mind blowing and they all thought you didnt even know me lol i remember someone not but a few years ago was like this chic says she knows you but i told her there's no way you are way older than her. I just laugh at that person and said hey young chic dog old men what wrong with that. Lol even though your one of my children it had to play it out . God michelle really I'm just so glad your not hurting anymore I'm coming to the end of my battle with my cancer. I would have taken yours if somebody would have just gave it to me. Your gods child now new body for that beautiful soul. I love you and cant wait to see you on The other side of those pearly gates.
They say we will be able to recognize people when we cross over I'm glad for that too. Jesus loved us so much it's amazing to me just how much he does.
I will see you soon my friend . You are so missed by so many people I knew that you had touch a lot of souls michelle thank you for my time with you.

Michelle had a contagious laugh and a smile that brighten up the room. Michelle often told me her mother was her favorite person and Dennis was her Superman for taking care of her. Heaven gained an angel and is not longer in pain. I am thankful for all the memories I have to cherish. Michelle was loved by her friends and family and will be truly missed. We will meet again. Loving thoughts, always Jen and Scott
