Miles was born in Marietta, Georgia, February 15th, 1955, son of the late Elbert and Lenora McCoy Biddy. Miles was also preceded in death by his brother, Randall Biddy and sister, Angaline Biddy Cantrell.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Robin Sutton Biddy; son, William Burton Biddy (Natalia), daughter, Kacey Jo Biddy, brother Doug Biddy (Linda), sister Cindy Biddy, nephew Taylor Zaganas (Sarah), nephew Alex Zaganas (Amanda), niece Ensley Zaganas, great-nephew Leo Zaganas, great-nieces Lucy Zaganas and Cora Spruell, and several other nieces and nephews.
A lifelong resident of Acworth, Miles graduated from North Cobb High School in 1973. Growing up he loved spending time in the woods near his home, playing baseball and four-wheeling. As a young adult he was introduced to the sport of deer hunting, where a true passion developed. He married Robin Sutton in 1985 and together they raised their son and daughter, and the additional bonus kids they were blessed with along the way. For most of his adult life, Miles was self-employed as a residential contractor and developer who took great pride in the work he did for others.
An avid outdoorsman, he spent much of his time studying the art of deer hunting and land management, always in search of the next monster buck. He loved being in the woods, hunting with his buddies, and sharing his knowledge about the sport. Over the years, he and Robin enjoyed traveling with friends and visiting national parks. Miles loved sports and was actively involved in coaching the kids ball teams. In more recent years, he cherished spending precious time with those who called him Pops. He looked forward to the days spent sitting in his backyard swing watching his treasured “grandkids” play in the pool, and having movie nights and sleepovers. Miles loved being a husband a father, a coach, and especially a Pops and he will be dearly missed.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening, August 25th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 26th at 11:00 AM at the chapel at Winkenhofer with Reverend Bill Abbott officiating.
