Miriam Virginia Kilby

Mrs. Miriam Virginia Kilby, 78, of Kennesaw died Thursday, April 21, 2011. A celebration service will be held at 6:30 pm on Monday, April 25, at Community Bible Church in Kennesaw. http://www.cbckennesaw.com.

Mrs. Kilby, born in Anniston, AL, lived most of her life in Kennesaw. She was a small business owner prior to her retirement. Throughout her life, she was devoted to God, always looking for opportunities to serve Him and minister to others. She remained active in church work, distributing food to needy families weekly and visiting those in assisted living monthly. She enjoyed time spent with family and working with her flowers.

Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Cannon Stendahl of Acworth, Pam (Robert) Lynch of Marietta; three grandchildren, Timothy Cannon of Alpharetta, John Lynch of Tampa, FL, Leslie Lynch of Alpharetta; brother, Johnnie Davis of Athens; sister, Mary Slagle (Ralph) of Elizabethton, TN; several nieces and nephews

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Bible Church; a memorial gift will be made to World Challenge Ministries for her faithful support to their minitry.

Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home is in charge of graveside arrangements at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth at 4 pm Monday, April 25, 2011.
