Ms. Monique LaMora White, age 50, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Ms. White was born on January 6, 1967 in Orange County, California, a daughter to Douglas Joseph LaMora and Pamela Turner LaMora.

Monique spent most of her younger years in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She graduated from Jacksonville Senior High School in 1985. She eventually made her way to Georgia where she would remain to raise her two daughters and create countless memories. Monique was known for her amazing zest for life and unwavering determination. In 2007, as a single mother, Monique graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Kennesaw State University. She worked as an Accountant for many years. She was an excellent tennis player, playing in several local USTA and ALTA leagues. Her lifelong love of all things purple and sparkly, panda bears, wearing bold jewelry, and being at the beach were a few of her absolute favorite things. However, she would quickly tell you her greatest accomplishment; her purest joy came from being a mother to her two beautiful daughters. Monique was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend; she will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her, including her dog Louie.

Monique is survived by her mother, Mrs. Pamela Turner LaMora of Jacksonville North Carolina; two daughters, Caroline White and Olivia White, both of Kennesaw; two sisters, Heather LaMora, husband Stuart Freeman of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina and Stacy Mangione, husband Timothy, of Wall, New Jersey; niece and nephews, Jessica and Matthew Farmer, and Drew and Reese Mangione and several extended family members and friends. Monique is preceded in death by her beloved father, Douglas Joseph LaMora.

A religious memorial to honor the life of Ms. Monique LaMora White will be held at twelve o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. The family will be receiving friends prior to the memorial at ten o’clock.

In lieu of customary remembrances the family requests donations be made to the gofundme.com/beach-wheelchair-in-memory or checks can be mailed to: Heather LaMora at 1815 Forest Oak Boulevard, SW Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469.
