

Nancy Jean Baer, 70, Kennesaw resident died Saturday, September 10, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Grace United Methodist Church of Neoga, IL. Jeanie worked for Superior Essex as the manager of product engineering after working her way up the corporate ladder from beginning as an assistant to the quality control department. She was honest, competitive, intelligent, and she carried it thought her entire life. Jeanie was a liked individual who was respected, and respected others. She had no enemy’s; she had a strong faith in God. She was an avid reader of non-fiction books and belonged to a book club. Growing up she was a cheerleader, played softball, and enjoyed visiting her grandma’s farm. Jeanie and Dan loved traveling in their motor home for work and leisure. She attended New Beginnings United Methodist Church Kennesaw, Georgia. Jeanie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and daughter. Survivors include her husband of 42 years Dan Baer, sons; Brad Albin (Jenny), John Baer (Krystal) and Chris Baer (Megan Whittenberg), two sisters; Janet Parker (Bob Lawson), Sue Anderson (Bob), brother; Steve Parker (Marcia), two grandchildren; Brock Baer and Blaine Baer, several nieces and nephews, and two great nieces. The family will be receiving family and friends 1pm until 2pm Saturday, October 15, at the church. Memorial donation may be made in Jeanie’s name to The American Cancer Society or to A.L.S ( Lou Gehrig’s Disease).
