Nancy Jean Baez

Nancy Jean Báez, age 57, of Acworth, GA passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019. She was born in Anchorage, AK on April 22, 1961. She was the second child of four to Robert Colbert and Dorothy Colbert who preceded her in death.

Nancy was known as a quiet, very smart, responsible and independent woman. But in addition to these attributes she was also fun, adventurous and a world traveler. She was very outgoing and had a contagious smile in which she never met a stranger. Nancy’s humbleness never allowed her to boast about her secular education, employment or entrepreneurial success, even while possessing an Associates in Arts Degree, from HCC, Interior design degree from Atlanta Art Institute, certified tax preparer, licensed esthetician, owner and operator of a ladies only Day Spa and lastly the CEO of the Consulting Company that she jointly operated with the love of her life, partner in crime and still known as her personal protection detail to whom she was married to since October 13, 1990.

However, she was never silent of what was important to her, her dedication to Jehovah and being recognized as one of his servants. She not only had hope on the promise of the future in the spiritual and physical paradise described in Psalm 37:9-11 but that even if she fell asleep in death what Job 14:15 - that Jehovah will call and she will answer.

Nancy will be reunited with her mother, Dorothy Colbert and step mother Yvonne Colbert when they are both resurrected in the promised earthly paradise. She leaves to cherish in her memory, her loving husband of 28 years Henry Báez, father, Robert Colbert; aunt Dolores Voincille Speers and uncle Edward Earl Speers, sister Rhonda Colbert, sister Robin Blaylock, her Husband Fred Blaylock, her brother Rodrick Colbert; nieces, Jordyn Blaylock, Lauren Robinson, her husband John Robin Robinson and over 8,569,000 spiritual brothers and sisters around the earth.

A memorial talk for friends and family will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2515 Old Hwy 92 Acworth, GA 30102.

Nancy's body has been laid to rest at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 N Cobb Pkwy Kennesaw, GA 30152.

In lieu of flowers she and her husband are requesting that those funds be donated to the JW.org in effort to further the most important work happening in planet earth today Matthew 24:14
