Mrs. Nora McLeod, age 82, of Kennesaw passed away peacefully at home on September 2, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Kennesaw with Father John Matejak officiating.
Nora was born in the Bronx, New York. Prior to moving to Kennesaw 13 years ago, she was a resident of upstate New York. Nora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Charles McLeod, her daughter Carol Ann and husband, Mark Robinson of Kennesaw; and her son Kevin and his wife, Carole McLeod of Kennesaw. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Provenzano. She also has a sister, Dorothy Tierney Leveille of Laval, QC. She was a grandmother to Kathleen McGraw of FL, Robin Matthews of Kennesaw, Christopher Provenzano of NY, James Provenzano of NY, Tara McLeod of Kennesaw, and Kevin Scott McLeod of Kennesaw. In addition, she had 9 great-grandchildren.
