.Norman Douglas Brown, age 78 of Acworth, passed away on January 31, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday February 4, 2014 at Winkenhofer Pineridge Funeral Home. Burial service will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia at 4:00pm. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00pm on Tuesday February 4, 2014 at Winkenhofer Pineridge Funeral Home.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 56 years, Geraldine L. Brown of Acworth, Georgia and his two sons Scott and wife Karen Brown of Milton, Georgia and Clay Brown and fiancée Deanna Eden of Canton, Georgia. He is also survived by his brother, Bill and wife Susan Brown of Penticton BC, Canada and two grandchildren, Alex and Adam Brown.
Mr. Brown was born in Long Beach, California. He was raised and attended high school in Corpus Christy, Texas. He moved to Cobb County in 1954 where he worked for Lockheed for over 39 years before retiring on January 30, 1994.
