She was a member of St. Simeon’s Episcopal Church, as well as St. Francis of Assisi, where she had been a member of The Rosary Society. In July of 1990, Kennesaw, GA became home. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church where she joined Episcopal Church Women and The Daughters of the King, Mary and Martha Chapter.
She was married to the late Varrel Simpson. She is survived by her children; Lawrence Simpson, Amorell Simpson, St. Ine Simpson, Joan Simpson, Barbara Simpson Campbell and Euriel Simpson; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Carlton Ray Baryea; sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10 AM at Christ Episcopal Church, 1210 Wooten Lake Road, Kennesaw, GA 30144, with Rev. Bob Dendtler and Rev. Bruce Laird officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 4PM until 8PM Sunday at the funeral home.
