Ora Ann Hernandez

Ora Ann Hernandez, age 84, passed away on July 31, 2019. Mrs. Hernandez was born on April 29, 1935 to the late John and Lena Stevenson, in Tazwell, Virginia. Ann was a very strong-willed and loving woman. She was protective of her family and always put them first. Ann enjoyed spending quality time with her family and being with her grandchildren. In 1983 she met Franklin Hernandez and on November 27, 1990 they became married. They spent the next thirty-six years together before her passing.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Fair; brother, Bill Stevenson; sisters, Gladys Nelson, Louise Chambers and Virginia Edwards. Ann is survived by sons, David (Jenise) Linkous and William (Bonnie) Linkous; daughter, Michelle (Duwayne) Boyd; grandchildren, Scott Hunter, Michael Linkous, Ryan (Brandy) Hunter, Christopher (Ruximar) Linkous, Brad Fair, Bobby (Jenn) Fair, Cristine Boyd, Cody Boyd, Marsha (Mark) Marie; nineteen great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service to honor Ann on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home at 11:00am. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service.
