She was an RN, but spent most of her life working with her husband, Dr. Carroll C. Gurley, DVM, at Fairburn Animal Hospital. She was also a member of Southwest Christian Church in East Point.
Survived by her children, Walt Carl Gurley, Mary Beth Nash, Dan Gurley; 1 brother; 6 sisters; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday Sept. 16 at 11 AM at Southwest Christian Church, 4330 Washington Road, East Point, GA 30344, with Ministers James White and Craig Kingston officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday between the hours of 9:30 AM until 11 AM.
